Follow Along with the Message

"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad."--2 Corinthians 5:10

We tend to repeat ourselves.  Preachers.

Jesus did.

Rich Young Ruler comes and leaves unsaved.  Peter's question rises from the event.

Rewards are VERY real.

One warning.  The next world is VERY different than the present world.  What is true/apparent in this life may not be so in the next.

God is radically FREE and absolutely SOVEREIGN in His judgment.  "Is it not lawful for Me to do what I wish with what is My own?"

 Created equal?

"Therefore do not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men's hearts; and then each man's praise will come to him from God."--1 Corinthians 4:5

--DON'T COMPARE

What difference does it make to you?  "I am fearfully and wonderfully made"--Psalm 139

--DON'T COMPLAIN

"Consider it all joy, my brothers. . ."--James 1:2.  "We have born the burden and the scorching heat of the day!!!"--v.12

--WORK HARD, TRUST HIS JUSTICE

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart. . .and He will make your path straight."--Proverbs 3:4

     Social Justice?  Divine Justice!!

____________

A warning

An encouragement

In ONE way, all men are equal

He said it twice.  Do you hear Him?
