1. Provide Comfort and Pronounce Blessings 

Debbie Quinn wrote, “There is something powerful that happens in a person’s life when they receive a blessing from someone they love. Giving a blessing to someone can include “a prayer of commission, a Bible passage, or words of encouragement” which opens their eyes spiritually to the truth of God’s Word by “declaring God’s protection, joy, and wisdom over them.” 

Psalm 145:4, “One generation will declare Your works to the next and will proclaim Your mighty acts.”  

2. Preach Community and Prosper from Shared Experiences

Brock Bastian said, "sharing a common struggle, pain, or experience with someone creates a strong bond and can boost cooperation with that individual.”

Proverbs 17:17, “For a friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”
