As Christians, we must model our love for one another as a reflection of Christ’s self-sacrificial love for us.

N.T. Wright said in his book John For Everyone, “The ‘command’ to love is given by one who has himself done everything that love can do."

Remember 1 John 3:16, “We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”
