Life happens...a lot. But “whatever happens” (v27) believers are called to live as “a sign to unbelievers”(v28) “without being frightened” (v28).

1. Joy Full Regardless...of the Circumstances

We are called to LIVE out our faith, not just endure until the end.

Attitude...is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. 2. Joy Full Regardless...of the Fear Factor

Fear conveys the message to us and to others than something is greater than God.

The Israelites focused on Goliath, while David focused on God.

Never forget the testimonies of God!

3. Joy Full Regardless....the Opportunity

Paul reminds us that we have been “granted the opportunity” (right & expectation) to join in Christ’s sufferings. By the world’s standard, this is incongruent. But it is THROUGH each of these opportunities that our joy “is a sign to unbelievers”.

It has been said that “faith is not about everything turning out okay, but being okay no matter how things turn out.” Regardless of the situation, we can have joy that brings glory to God, in the example of Christ.
