Welcome to Hunters Glen! Today we are privileged to hear two of our own share God's Word with us. Cory Edwards who serves as Student Ministry Associate will be preaching in our 9:30am service and Stephen Jones who serves as Student Pastor will be preaching in our 11:00am service. Both of these men have a passion for Jesus and a love for His church. I am honored to serve with them and grateful to God for bringing them to Hunters Glen.

As you worship today, Carmen and I are in Peru. Through the ministry of Compassion International, thousands of children are being released from poverty in Jesus name. While in Peru, we will be seeing Compassion's work first-hand and meeting many of these children. We covet your prayers as we explore opportunities for HGBC to partner with Peruvian believers in sharing God's love.

Next Sunday I look forward to bringing the final message in our Back to the Basics series. On Friend Day, the 24th, I will begin an exciting new series from the Book of Ruth called "The Perplexing Providence of God."
