No one can give everything, but everyone can give something.

HGBC strives to lead people to become fully committed followers of Christ and that includes being committed to the discipline of giving.

1. Give with Grace Even When It’s a Struggle

Don’t just give when your circumstances are good; give even in the most difficult times of your life!

2. Giving In Grace Requires Sacrifice

It is by letting go that we receive. It is by giving up that we get. It is by sacrificial giving that we are set free from the effects of being stingy.

Let go until there’s nothing else to cling to except Christ and see how God will bless!

3. Giving Graciously Doesn’t Require a Special Invitation

When we become accustomed to giving out of our abundance rather than our of our deep poverty, we allow our comfort levels to dictate our obedience to Christ rather than hearts of love and grace.

Recognize giving as an opportunity to join God where He is already working.

4. Giving Graciously is Surrendering Everything

God does not desire your offerings, nor does He necessarily need them. His work will continue whether you choose to participate or not.
