Demanding Thomas: The Blessings of a Bigger Faith

Thomas didn't really doubt.  He made a DEMAND.

Absent on the first Sunday.  Present a week later.

"Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed."--v. 20

Makarios--mak (big, large)

     "Though the fig tree should not blossom, and there be no fruit on the vine;

     Though the yield of the olive tree should fail, and the fields produce no food. . .yet will I exult in the Lord.  I will rejoice in the God of my salvation."--Habakkuk 3:17-18

A confidence that is not dependent on visible proof

     "But solid food is for the mature who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil."--Hebrews 5:14

EVENTUALLY WE WILL ALL SEE
