Follow Along with the Message

When God calls us to a task, he will be faithful to equip us with the tools needed to accomplish that task.

To be fearless we must…

1. Not     to   Us but to   Us.

I have heard it said that “God’s commandments are God’s enablements.”

A.W. Tozer wrote, “All God’s acts are done in perfect wisdom, first for His own glory, and then for the highest good and the greatest number for the longest time.”

God asked Abraham in Genesis 18:14, “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” Luke 1:37 says, “For with God nothing is impossible.” Jesus told his disciples in Matthew 19:26, “With God all things are possible.”

To be fearless means…

2. Not Being  Cautious but having    .

Gideon agreed to obey and follow the Lord but was super cautious in his approach.

A quote attributed to Franklin Roosevelt is, “Courage is not the absence of fear but rather the assessment that something else is more important than fear.”

Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, “But he said to me, ’My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
